If you haven’t heard by now, the best sale of the year is here and in full swing (but you probably have because our editors have been yelling it from the rooftops for days now). Yes, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here—and if you haven’t already, it’s time to figure out what you want to add to your cart before it sells out.
Every year, the Nordstrom Sale is marked on our editors’ calendars and circled in red marker because we know that it’s our opportunity to add the pieces of our dreams to our wardrobes at majorly discounted prices (and that they won’t be in stock for long). We scour every page of the sale, write down our wishlists, and do everything in our power to get our hands on the things we want before they’re gone.
This year, we’ve made purchases we’re very excited about, and we don’t want to keep the news to ourselves. From full-size beauty sets at unbelievable prices to jackets we’re planning on living in this fall, these are the pieces our editors purchased (or have in our carts) from this year’s sale. Trust us, you don’t want to miss out on them.

Outdoor Voices
Cross Back Tennis Minidress, $74
A fun fact about me is that for the past three summers, I have had a perpetual tan line in the image of my Outdoor Voices exercise dress. The exercise dress is my uniform every single weekend during the warmer months, so when I saw that this criss-cross back version was on sale, I knew I had to snag at least one more to add to my wardrobe. Catch me wearing this on morning coffee walks, on the pickleball courts, during my Sunday reset, to a casual brunch, and reading a book on my porch. I honestly can’t wait to get even more exercise dress tan lines.

Mother
Frayed High Waist Flare Jeans, $169
I’ve never found a pair of jeans that I felt were comfortable enough to want to stay in all day until I discovered Mother. Not only are they supremely comfortable but they are so flattering around the waist and booty. The material gives a ton of stretch throughout the waist and legs without the dreaded baggy stretch out effect which is so rare. I scooped up this full length flare cut to add a new silhouette to my closet and I am so glad that I did! They really elongate the leg and offer the perfect flare without being oversized. I will be living in these all fall with booties and sneakers.

BERNARDO
Packable Puffer Jacket, $149
It’s official: the time has come for me to purchase my “moving to Chicago winter coat.” Although my beloved cropped TNA puffer has served me well in other cities, I know it’s not going to cut it in the Chicago chill, so I’m trading in for this long quilted puffer from Bernardo. This baby has everything I’m going to need as I gallivant through my first Midwestern winter: a removable inner bib and hood, recycled-polyester insulation, and, of course, a functional length. I won’t take full credit for this choice, though, as I ensured that this particular puffer was Maddie-approved before adding to my cart.

SAVE THE DUCK
Reversible Faux Fur Jacket, $219
If you’ve never heard of Save the Duck before, your winter weather wardrobe is missing out. I invested in my first jacket from them last year and could not have hit add to cart fast enough when I saw this beauty included in the sale. This ultra-warm reversible short puffer pulls double duty with both an incredibly plush faux-fur (the softest and most plush faux fur EVER) and a super-luxe water repellent. When using the water repellent side, the faux fur offers just enough of a peek to add a bit of drama to an already fabulous silhouette. The quality of this brand feels much higher than its price tag. I can’t wait to wear this all Fall and winter with jeans and sweaters for a comfortable but together look. A true 10/10 purchase.

Nordstrom
Moonlight Eco Short Knit Pajamas, $40
Once I became a pajama set girlie, there was no going back. I have these moonlight pajamas in the long sleeve and pants version, and they are, hands down, my favorite thing to wear to bed. They are so smooth and soft and make me feel chic. This short set is definitely on my wish list for summer, and they are available in so many cute colors and patterns that I may just have to get a couple pairs.

Hanky Panky
Original Rise Thong, $24
Every Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I immediately stock up on Hanky Panky lace underwear. I have tried alternative lace options, but I always come back to the Hanky Panky classic Original Rise Thong because they are so soft you forget you’re wearing them at all. They come in many different cuts and colors so the underwear always works with what you’re wearing and never shows through your clothes.

Birkenstock
Arizona Big Buckle Slide Sandal, $129
I recently discovered Birkenstocks (yes, I’m late to the game) and they are now part of my daily summer uniform. They are so comfortable that I’ve stopped wearing my running shoes on my daily neighborhood walks and now get my 10,000 steps in my black Birkenstocks. As a trending shoe of the summer, I am ready to upgrade mine to a dressier version like these white ones with the gold buckle.

New Balance
327 Sneaker, $79
I need a new pair of sneakers. I don’t say that dramatically, I mean I quite literally own one pair of sneakers and they’re so overworn I have holes in both the toes. It’s been time for another pair, but I’ve been waiting on the Nordstrom Anniversary sale (because nice sneakers can be pricey, so I want a good deal!). I’m obsessed with this chunkier style from New Balance because they look comfy enough to wear on all my hot girl walks, but they also pair perfectly with jeans or trousers (AKA my new favorite office and brunch shoes since they’re way comfier than any sandal or heel).

Steve Madden
Haylan Chelsea Boot, $79
Boots that are comfortable, sensible, affordable, and look good with fall and winter outfits are next to impossible to find IMO, but these boots check all the boxes for me. Last year, I bought a similar pair in black, and let me tell you, I got my money’s worth out of them (plus some), so when I saw these in the taupe shade, I immediately added them to my cart. I know that I will wear these nonstop with jeans, leggings, skirts, and anything else my heart desires.

Sam Edelman
Pointed Toe Western Boot, $129
I’m keeping the coastal cowgirl trend alive this fall with these pointed toe western-inspired boots from Sam Edelman. As someone on the shorter side, I love that these have a little bit of a heel to wear out and seem to be more versatile when it comes to styling, compared to normal cowboy boots. And at $70 off, how can I not get them?

Argento Vivo
Tube Hoop Earrings, $49
I think I have the most sensitive ears known to man, so I’m always on the hunt for good quality jewelry in sterling silver or gold. However, finding affordable gold or silver pieces don’t always go hand in hand. That is until I discovered Argento Vivo. Arguably my favorite jewelry brand out there, I always stop at the jewelry counter when I’m in Nordstrom to see what timeless pieces they have in stock. When I saw that there’d be a few pieces on sale for the Anniversary Sale I knew I had to pick something up. I decided on these larger hoops, since I don’t have a pair like this and I’ve been eyeing them for a while. Quality jewelry that won’t make my skin react, won’t tarnish and is listed at a good price? I couldn’t add these to my cart fast enough.

Coach
Polished Pebble Leather Crossbody Bag, $198
When I tell you that I have been looking for the perfect white coach bag for three years, I’m not exaggerating. I have added so many to my cart and have never gone through with the purchase because none of them ever felt like the right one—until now. Once I saw this bag, I knew it was the one. Dramatic? Maybe. But truly, I adore the versatility, style, and size of this bag, and I can’t wait to pair it with my favorite outfits.
-Hailey, Assistant Editor

Dagne Dover
Ace Water Resistant Belt Bag, $65
I can’t tell you the last time I used an actual purse—let’s just say I’m in my belt bag era and I don’t see it ending anytime soon. After all, they take me from my hot girl walks to the gym to brunch to errands. Needless to say, this Dagne Dover find is definitely going into my rotation. It screams effortlessly cool and stylish, plus its lightweight, water-resistant (a major bonus for those who are accident-prone—it’s me, hi), and four-pocket (plus a key hook!) features make it super functional.

Barefoot Dreams
Throw Blanket, $97
I’m going to be honest, I take every Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as an opportunity to get another Barefoot Dreams Blanket. Like I don’t understand how the entire world doesn’t stop when the dreamiest blanket known to man is $50 off!? Since they’ve been viral for years, I probably don’t need to tell you by now why Barefoot Dreams is not just a blanket, but a luxurious experience and why yes, you do need a $100+ throw blanket, but if you need more convincing, this blanket has reportedly been the Kardashians’ go-to gift for over five years. Stock up for your living room, to snuggle with in bed, for holiday gifts for your loved ones, as a bougie hostess gift, or because your dog deserves only the best.

NÉCESSAIRE
Body Wash Duo Set, $35
This is my favorite body wash ever, so you bet I am stocking up while it’s on major sale. It’s non-toxic, makes your skin extremely soft, and smells so luxurious it turns your shower or bath into a spa experience. TBH, I’ve been gatekeeping this stuff, like my boyfriend is not allowed to use it because I don’t want a drop to go to waste (he wouldn’t appreciate it enough, OK!?). But at such a major steal, I’m going to add one to the guest bathroom to look super bougie when people come to visit. And alright, maybe I’ll share with my boyfriend too.

Kiehl’s
Hydrate All Day Starter Set, $61
When it comes to my skincare, the simpler the better. I have very sensitive skin that doesn’t take well to a lot of ingredients and I have found the magic combo with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser and Ultra Facial Cream which come together in the Hydrate All Day Starter Set. Both are super gentle and hydrating on my skin without irritating or clogging my pores.
-Cassie, Social Media Editor

Dr. Dennis Gross
The Glow Up Set, $153
I go absolutely feral for Dr. Dennis Gross’s AHA/BHA peel pads so whenever I see them on sale, I lose all concept of space, time, and money and hit “add to cart” without a second thought. I wrote an entire review about these things on the site and truly, I think my results speak for themselves. I use it to help minimize my pores, keep my complexion as clear as possible, and to prevent fine lines as I attempt to stretch my Botox doses as far apart as possible. I stockpile these peel pads because I can’t imagine my skincare routine without them.
-Ashley, Brand Partnerships Manager

Osea
Golden Glow Discovery Set, $58
All I hear about OSEA products online is just how amazing and game changing they are, and I have been dying to finally give them a try. Users claim this body oil will give you the smoothest, silkiest skin and who wouldn’t want that for summer? Since this three-piece set will be $30 off, I’m finally going to make the move.
