Sydney Sweeney attended the Variety Power of Young Hollywood Gala held at NeueHouse Hollywood on Thursday (August 10) in California.
I was relieved to see the actress is still in her bombshell era, as I’m still suffering a mild case of PTSD from her Thom Browne moment.
At that time, I was worried that we were losing – what feels like – our last remaining bombshell with the likes of Rosie Huntington-Whiteley becoming the quiet luxury queen, and Scarlett Johansson’s current obsession with all things Prada.
When it comes to red carpet fashion, I would always advocate playing to your strengths.
An oversized schoolgirl inspired pastel skirt suit didn’t do that for Sydney, whereas this Alexander McQueen leather bustier, articulated corset belt and slashed biker skirt, does.
Very well I might add.
While this feels like a rare sensual approach to design from the label, Sydney sells the sultry feel.
Alexander McQueen Punk pumps and an Alexander McQueen Jewelled Accumulation earring completed her look, along with rings from Mara Paris and Ralph Masri.
