To celebrate his birthday today (April 20), Killer Mike isn’t just blowing an exorbitant amount of trees.
Mike has announced that his forthcoming solo album MICHAEL now has a due date: June 16. His sixth overall effort, it will Mike’s first album since 2012’s R.A.P. Music. Alongside the singles “Talk’n That Sh*t” and “RUN,” Mike has shared its third focus track “Don’t Let The Devil” with his Run The Jewels compadre El-P and thankugoodsir.
“RTJ is the X-Men, this is my Logan,” Mike says about the album. “My favorite group (US) with my favorite producers! It’s our 10 year anniversary and MICHAEL is an origin story so I wanted to start with El.”
The single is produced by No I.D., EL-P, and Little Shalimar.
