Jessica Alba (Honest Company founder) and Lizzy Mathis (Cool Mom Co. founder) continued to promote their hour-long reality show, ‘Honest Renovations,’ where they renovate homes for deserving families in New York City.
Aside from a world tour, nothing beats a New York press junket, where we get several changes in one/two days.
I will always give credit to Blake Lively for making this a phenomenal, but we have also seen Gigi Hadid and Michael B. Jordan for ‘Creed II’ serve several looks during a promo tour within 24 hours.
Yesterday (August 16), Jessica was spotted in Midtown wearing an Altuzarra Pella top and Pythia knot-detail skirt from the Fall 2023 collection in a sensational orange colour way.
Her total look feels like a tribute to summer that is fun and vivacious, without compromising on sophistication.
Matching her Manolo Blahnik Maysale buckle pumps and Fendi bag to her look ensured a utterly charming finish, along with a Mejuri large pavé diamond round necklace.
If you’re more into neutrals, perhaps this full head-to-toe butter moment is preferred.
Jessica has always been a classic girl at heart, so I was surprised to see her step into the oversized trend with this look which featured Altuzarra’s Tyr pleated trousers.
The brown bag wouldn’t have been my first choice, but as two neutrals, I understand the pairing.
It was an early morning start for Jessica today (August 17), as she was spotted leaving her hotel en route to her first appointment dressed in triple denim wearing a Sergio Hudson double-breasted blazer, strapless paneled bustier top and high-rise flared jeans from the Spring 2023 collection, which was a subversive twist on classic tailoring.
I love how the shoulder pads stand to attention over the elongated profile of the blazer, as well as the unexpected colourful lining.

While I love how Jessica Alba and Lizzy Mathis coordinated their purple looks for ‘Good Morning America,’ I could only get on board with one of their looks, and that was Lizzy’s Victoria Beckham gathered waist midi dress which has been seen in parrot green on Kendall Jenner, Queen Letizia of Spain and Victoria Beckham herself.
I like how the deconstructed petal-like sleeves balance the gathered waistline for a look that is at once modest, flattering, and charming.
Simple white pumps and a classic Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily bag completed her look.
Jessica’s Sergio Hudson Fall 2022 violet wool blazer and velvet panelled mini dress was too Fall-like for me, especially when you factor in the tights and platforms which she wore earlier this week.
It’s just way too hot for this.
