Gunna has dropped his new album a Gift & a Curse. The album was announced yesterday and features the single “bread & butter,” released earlier this month. Scroll down to listen to the 15-track project now.
a Gift & a Curse is Gunna’s first album since he was released from jail in December 2022. He was released after pleading guilty to one count of conspiracy to violate Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). His arrest came as part of the ongoing YSL trial, in which Young Thug and his label mates stand accused of being a criminal street gang.
On “bread & butter” Gunna addresses allegations that the plea deal facilitating his release amounted to snitching. a Gift & a Curse is released via YSL and was promoted on Young Thug’s Instagram page on today’s release date alongside the caption “BUSINESS IS BUSINESS.”
Gunna’s previous album, DS4Ever, was released in January 2022.
