Here is a roundup from the rest of the looks which graced the red carpet at the postponed 2023 Emmy Awards which took place on Monday.
We have seen many naked illusion dresses in our time, but this Do Long look worn by Emma Brooks Mcallister feels quite unique with the beaded details outline a naked silhouette, and the draped skirt amplifying the Statue of Venus vibe.

I thought Ariana Debose’s Brunello Cucinelli look was actually a rerun from Jennifer Lopez at first, but this was a custom look.
Considering that I liked Greta Lee’s look you might find this hypocritical, but I kinda felt that this was too casual for the Emmys.
An OMEGA timepiece and De Beers Jewels completed her look.

Christina Ricci’s move away from Fendi has seen her style rocket exponentially.
Dressed in this velvet Saint Laurent gown with a plunging neckline highlighted by a diamond and emerald Martin Katz necklace, this was her second best look in a row this awards season.

Claire Danes wore a vintage Balmain pink dress which is unassuming from the front, but beautiful from the back.
The actress complemented the embellishment with Cartier jewels.
The best thing about Dominique Fishback’s Miu Miu gown, is that it wasn’t an option for Halle Bailey promo tour for ‘The Little Mermaid.’
I thought Dominique had stepped into a new style era in 2023 and left these style of gowns in 2022.

Last year, Jennifer Coolidge pretty much wore Dolce & Gabbana exclusively, which is why the free-flowing nature of this Etro gown felt instantly refreshing.

Sometimes I find Jessica Williams’ style a bit too forced, and not a true reflection of her actual style, but I adored this Rodarte gown on her. It feels like a romantic ode to old Hollywood.
However, I’m sure this will be a one night only event.
This feels like a long version of Halle Bailey’s Nicole + Felicia dress worn to the 2023 Glamour Women Of The Year Awards.

Juno Temple doesn’t always get it right.  If it’s not the dress, it’s usually hair, but everything from the Vera Wang dress to the styling was on point last night, until I saw that the cups on the bustier were too small for her.

Katherine Heigl attended her first Emmys in over a decade.
Some might say it shows, but I found this custom Reem Acra styled with a silver clutch and matching Rahaminov Diamonds Jewelry very endearing.
She has been out of the red carpet game for a while, so she is doing what feels right for her.
This Alexandre Vauthier Fall 2023 Haute Couture dress is my least favourite from Keri Russell this awards season.
The skirt says board meeting at 9am, while the train is going to a gala event at 7pm.

Natasha Lyonne’s Schiaparelli Spring 2024 metallic ribbed knit maxi dress inlaid with tonal trompe-l’oeil breasts reminded me of Zendaya’s Atelier Versace Joan of Arc 2018 Met Gala look.
They even have the same hair colour.

Rhea Seehorn looked very stately in this beaded Naeem Khan Spring 2024 creation which she styled with Jennifer Meyer earrings and Graziela rings.
This feels like a dress a royal would wear.

Snatched waists and mermaid hemline were trending on this red carpet with Niecy Nash-Betts and Sheryl Lee Ralph.
Niecy was Yin to Sheryl’s Yang, as she graced the red carpet in this custom white Christian Siriano tuxedo inspired creation.
Doing two major events back to back was just as challenging as I expected, but I’m glad I was able to cover in quick time (for me). Thanks for all your comments.
