Here is a roundup from the 2024 Critics’ Choice Awards which took place on Sunday.
The colour blue has really elevated my mood today.
First Matt Bomer, and now Lily Gladstone in this stunning custom Christian Siriano cobalt blue gown.
And it’s not just the colour I deeply admire; it’s the drapery and overskirt which add to the glamour.
This is the moment I have been waiting for from Lily.
Styled by Jason Rembert.
Aja Naomi King is usually in Princess mode, but on this occasion she opted for something more eye-catching in Oscar de la Renta.
I like the style and the design, but I feel like she would have looked more comfortable if the gown wasn’t so restricting.
Styled by Wayman Bannerman and Micah McDonald.
I have championed the Loewe Toy pumps many times recently, but I will concede that the crystal-embellished verison do not work with Alison Oliver’s beautiful Loewe Spring 2024 draped dress.
What was her glam team thinking?
Styled by Aimée Croysdill.

Allison Williams looked very sophisticated wearing a Zuhair Murad white jumpsuit with a strapless neckline which was calling for a line of diamonds.
Anita Ko beautifully obliged.
Styled by Cristina Ehrlich.
America Ferrera wore a sequinned Alberta Ferretti dress in the award season on trend colour: brown, styled with Pomellato jewels.
Styled by Karla Welch.
Looking at Angela Bassett in this Pamella Roland dress, I kinda wish she had sat this one out.
Styled by Jennifer Austin.
I was starting to think that all of Ariana DeBose’s problems on the red carpet could have been saved if she had just worn her hair in a sleek ponytail, but then I remembered that the issue with her season was all that taffeta.
Thankfully that wasn’t Matthew M. Williams fabric of choice when he made this Givenchy Spring 2024 gown accented with a row of pearls.
The dress was styled with Messika jewels.
Styled by Zadrian + Sarah.

I kinda wish Ariana Greenblatt’s Louis Vuitton Spring 2024 dress was completely leather or only had one layer on the skirt, especially since they were already in the mood to modify this dress.

Ashley Madekwe usually makes an understated statement on the red carpet, but things took a more dramatic turn in this Balmain Pre-Fall 2024 dress styled with Samer Halimeh diamond earrings and rings.
Styled by Sophie Lopez.

This is a rarity. Me, liking a Billie Eilish look. Although I thought it was Dolce & Gabbana at first, when it was actually designed by Thom Browne.
Oliver Peoples glasses completed her look.
Styled by Andrew Mukamal.
Calista Flockhart was the beautiful plus one to husband Harrison Ford dressed in an Erdem Pre-Fall 2024 signature floral gown.
Styled by Elizabeth Stewart.
Celine Song’s variations on suits continued with Thom Browne.
I particularly like the embroidery on this one.
Styled by Britt Theodora.
Now this is the Christina Ricci I know and love.
The actress’ custom Atsuko Kudo Couture latex gown was a significant improvement on her last outing in Fendi.
This is the sultry gothic energy I have missed from Christina since she’s been team Fendi.
Styled by Julia von Boehm.
The bodice overlayed in feathers on Jennifer Aniston’s Dolce & Gabbana look ensured this look stood out.
De Beers jewels completed her look,
Styled by Ryan Hastings.
Keri Russell has a knack for selecting understated gowns with small details that make a big impact like this Stéphane Rolland Fall 2023 Haute Couture gown.
Styled by Frank Fleming.
Mandy Moore looked radiant wearing a coral Elie Saab Spring 2024 dress with the cut-outs amplifying the sultry nature of the look.
Styled by Kevin Michael Ericson.

By Natasha Lyonne’s standards, this Dolce & Gabbana tiered black fringe skirt paired with a tank top and suspenders is relatively understated.
Shy Creation jewels complete her look.
Styled by Cristina Ehrlich.
Oprah Winfrey’s chokehold on the colour purple continued in this custom Dolce & Gabbana off-the-shoulder gown styled with Manolo Blahnik pumps.
It’s gonna be hard picking a favourite when this promo tour is over.
Styled by Annabelle Harron.
