 Jean Paul Gaultier

We’re halfway through the month, so that means yet another update on Beyonce’s Renaissance world tour, which continues to be the gift that keeps on giving.

I missed this Jean Paul Gaultier look from the New Jersey concert in July, which saw Beyonce wearing JPG’s signature provocative designed strategically placed morphing stripes, which we recently saw on Megan Fox recently.

We’ve seen these morphing stripes a lot, but the crystal detailing gave this a new lease of life, along with it being presented as a bodysuit with a cape.

In Boston, Beyonce wore a custom Arturo Obegero lace gown with Agent Provocateur stockings, Christian Louboutin shoes and Tiffany & Co. embellished shades, which saw the singer turn up the heat for the opening act.

In principle, I can’t say that I am a huge fan of this custom Dundas by Peter Dundas look inspired by the Fall 2023 collection, as it feels a little dated.

But when you put this into context, it works with the disco theme of the tour.

Custom Jimmy Choo boots completed her look.

A third new look for Boston was this Alon Livne sheer jumpsuit.  It does feel like a lot of ideas in one look.  And I would’ve been on board with this had the bodice been more flattering.

There weren’t any new looks for Pittsburgh, but there were plenty for Washington.

I think there is something quite poetic about Beyonce wearing the iconic American label Ralph Lauren Collection in the nation’s capital.

Some might feel that this halter gown with criss-cross tie detailing and a pleated cutout train, styled with tonal evening gloves and a boa with crystal fringe detailing, isn’t a typical Ralph Lauren Collection gown, and I would agree.

But when you’re dressing an icon for an event such as this, the label made the right choice to add a bit extra.

I would picture Beyonce wearing this on the red carpet, and not loving it, but in this setting, it works.

Next up was a custom Self-Portrait gold embellished mini cut-out dress with feather sleeves which was giving me cheerleader vibes.

Jimmy Choo Azia sandals completed her look.

I loved the red Off-White bodysuit, but Beyonce looks even better in blue.

As jumpsuits go – and there have been a lot of them – this bedazzled, velvet Nina Ricci one-piece is breath-taking on Beyonce.

I hope that the fan machine was set to the highest level.

Custom Tiffany & Co. twisted drop earrings and an Elsa Peretti® fancy intense yellow diamond ring in sterling silver with over 32 carats from the designer’s personal collection completed her look, along with Nina Ricci bow accented platforms.

My feeling is that you can’t have too many statement pieces in one look, but Beyonce serves this Gucci look with so much swagger, I can’t deny that she sold the look.

Charlotte saw another custom Julien Dossena for Rabanne look, following her dress in Paris.

This silver assemblage mini dress made with round mirror-effect plates was styled with Jimmy Choo satin boots and gloves.

This is one of the highlights of the tour.  Narrowing down my favourites will be impossible.

I’m glad she didn’t go silver on silver on this occasion.

Beyonce went from Little Red Riding Hood in Hamburg, to the Black Swan in Charlotte wearing another custom Carolina Herrera bodysuit with a silk taffeta hood and gloves.

I could’ve done without the feather sleeve on this custom LAPOINTE asymmetrical bodysuit.

The only thing I really like here is the shades. Surprisingly.

I was excited to see Gaurav Gupta finally enter the chat.

The designer has given us many iconic moments this year, and this Infinity crystal bodysuit paired with crystal legging boots is one of them.

And then we move onto Atlanta where it seems that Beyonce had a whole new wardrobe, as she showcased seven new looks.

Starting with another Gaurav Gupta masterclass.

For the opening act, Beyonce looked breath-taking in this neon green Athena saree gown from the designers Fall 2023 Couture collection.

She looks like a goddess here. I am blown away.

As I was by her third Gaurav Gupta look of this tour.

I’m hypnotized by the green gown, but this Moondust crystal encrusted Orbit gown is running a close second.

Han Chong sure does love a cuff feather moment, as Beyonce’s second Self-Portrait look for this tour shows.

Her pink bodysuit which was styled with Missoni sandals.

Honestly, I expected more from Dolce & Gabbana, as their custom looks usually blow me away.

I wanted to give them credit for the illusion attempt, but the tulle is slightly darker than her skin tone, so this needed to be a gloves looked.

We’ve seen better catsuits on this tour.

We saw lots of pleated looks from Alberta Ferretti’s Fall 2022 collection, but none as breath-taking as this.

Taking in this look, I guess that is why we got the black Herrera in Charlotte.

I’m surprised that it took this long for us to get our first Roberto Cavalli by Fausto Puglisi look on this tour.

Considering the label has created whole wardrobes for artists in the past, I expected many Cavalli looks before now.

My first thought was why is this not red, as it looks like a flame design, but the blue feels more original, plus we already had the red Ferretti.

I can’t say I’m the biggest fan of gold and silver together, but considering we’ve seen so many silver and gold metallic bodysuits, at least Marni gave us something different.

Considering Beyonce gave us this many new looks for Atlanta, I’m expecting some explosive looks for her homecoming Houston concert on September 23.
