The Coeur d’Alene Tribe opened a small bingo hall 30 years ago hoping it would provide jobs, revenue, and an enhanced quality of life for its members.
As the Creator intended.
Not only has it survived, but the enterprise has thrived, evolving into amenity rich Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel.

That’s four times more land than the average course, and it enabled Bates to wind Circling Raven through woodlands, wetlands, and natural Palouse grasses.
The vast layout unveils expansive views of surrounding terrain and has perennially been ranked one of the country’s top courses since opening. Further attesting to the course’s excellence is its role as host venue for the Circling Raven Championship, an Epson “Road to the LPGA” Tour event. Each season many of the world’s finest professional women players compete for shares of the $225,000 tournament prize purse.
The Circling Raven Pro Shop is comprised of a finely appointed cornucopia of clubs, clothing, accessories, Native American artworks, and more. It’s ideal for finding unique gifts and keepsakes that memorialize a visit well spent.
Twisted Earth Grill – named after Circling Raven’s son – is adjacent to the Pro Shop. A 25-acre practice facility and stay-and-play packages are popular with visiting guests.
Two hotel wings (Mountain and Spa) and an array of after-golf activities at the casino resort include the vibrant, recently re-imagined gaming floor, multiple restaurants and eateries, and live entertainment shows and events including famed comedians, bands, and fight nights.
