When applying and interviewing for jobs, there are numerous red flags to look out for. One such red flag would be receiving late-night phone calls from your potential employer. This particular experience didn’t sit well with the job candidate.
They thought they’d seen it all until they received a call from a terrible employer at 11 pm for a follow-up interview. The candidate had already interviewed for a less-than-stellar job that offered zero benefits and only one week of vacation after two years. Plus, the employer wanted them to work hourly for a whopping 48 hours a week!
When the candidate received the late-night call, they were totally freaked out, and it woke up their whole household. This alone was enough to make them withdraw their application. Who can blame them?
But it’s not just this one bad employer that’s the problem. The candidate expressed frustration with the poor treatment of job seekers and the lack of ways to expose these terrible bosses in this story they shared in r/AntiWork on Reddit.
