Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas’ daughter is saying goodbye to her teenage years.
The couple’s youngest child, Carys, turned 20 last week, and received heartwarming tributes from both of her parents.
“20 years ago today my daughter Carys came in to my arms and there is not a day I haven’t cherished. Happy Birthday beautiful lady🎂♥️🎂,” Zeta-Jones, 53, captioned an Instagram video.
The clip featured Carys — who appeared to be preschool aged — showing off her dancing skills in front of a lake.
The “Wednesday” star also included a clip which explained the origin of Carys’ moniker as “a Welsh feminine given name derived from the word caru, ‘to love.’”
“Thank you mommy,” she wrote in the comments section. “I love you so deeply- thank you for the wonderful mother you have been for these 20 years❤️.”
Douglas, 78, also shared a sweet tribute in honor of his little girl’s big day.
“To my darling daughter Carys, wishing you a happy happy birthday!” he captioned a recent snap of her, in which she posed on a couch beside an electric guitar. “Now that you are leaving your teens, may this be a wonderful New Year for you darling! I love you, Dad.”
“I love you so much Dadda,” Carys replied in the comments section. “thank you for all that you do and all that you are ❤️❤️.”

The couple are also parents to 22-year-old son Dylan, while Douglas shares son Cameron, 44, with his ex-wife Diandra Luker.
Both Carys and her brother, who is a Brown University graduate, have spent most of their lives out of the spotlight.
Their A-list parents met in 1998 at a film festival, where Douglas later revealed he made things a bit awkward with his future wife.
“I said to her after about half an hour [into hanging out for the first time], ‘You know, I’m going to be the father of your children,’” the actor admitted during a 2016 appearance “Jonathan Ross Show” interview.
At the time, the “Chicago” star replied, “You know, I’ve heard a lot about you and I’ve seen a lot about you, and I think it’s time I say goodnight.”
Nevertheless, she and the “Basic Instinct” icon said “I do” in 2000, welcoming Dylan that year, and Carys three years later.
