KwaZulu-Natal is currently facing severe weather conditions, including heavy rainfall, hail and flooding. Buildings, homes and roadways have been affected.
According to a source in Hillcrest, the flooding has reached ankle-deep levels and some areas are strewn with ice fragments.
The news comes after the devastating KZN floods last year.
