Just call her Louise Blouin-through water.
The Suffolk County Water Authority has released its annual list of the area’s alleged top water users with Blouin, who formerly ran an art media empire that included “Art + Auction” and “Modern Painter,” on the list twice.
Coming in at No. 3 on the list of water hogs is an address on Gin Lane, owned by Brick Church Enterprises, which lists Blouin as a director.
While the average home uses 130,000 gallons of water a year, the address allegedly guzzled 7.6 million gallons from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023.
Blouin also owns another property on Gin Lane, that ran through 4.5 million gallons on the adjacent property.
The manses, located next to each other on the same sprawling estate, are known as La Dune — and are on the market for $150 million, with a listing that boasts “two residences on over four pristine stately hedged acres.”

Blouin, who was named in the Panama Papers for stashing funds in offshore accounts, also tried to sell in 2016 and 2019. The home was in bankruptcy court in May 2022.
Reps for Nestseekers, the firm that is selling the homes, did not respond to a request for comment.
Other hedgies allegedly drowning their hedges are Oak Hill Advisor’s Glenn August and ex-Millennium CIO Bobby Jain, plus billionaire hedge-fund manager Noam Gottesman.

Joanna Goldman— the wife of Oscar-winning Hollywood screenwriter Akiva Goldsman, who penned “A Beautiful Mind” — is also on the list for allegedly using 5.1 million gallons, while real estate guru Robert Taubman comes in with 5.1 million.
Many of the names are alleged repeat offenders, having appeared on the list in 2022.
According to the Southampton Press, which published the list this week, the super charged amount of water comes from large irrigation systems or geothermal heating and cooling systems.

“The authority says it has appealed to property managers at big estates to curtail [lawn] watering schedules, to limited success,” the article says.
The local water authority has also asked recently asked customers to cut back on usage.
“Suffolk County is in a moderate drought, posing a significant threat to our water supply and the sustainability of our community,” said a tweet this week, asking residents to only water lawns on even or odd days, and to make sure sprinkler heads are not leaking.
