Thank you so much for doing this with us! Before we get started, our readers would love to know more about your background.

“Sure! I’ve been involved in modeling and creating content since I was 19 years old. It all started when I lost a significant amount of weight during my first year of college. As I began working out my perspective shifted, and I became interested in modeling. I had no idea how to get started until a coworker invited me to a yacht photoshoot. Although it was an unpaid opportunity, I had so much fun and it sparked my passion for the creative industry. From that point on, I continued to pursue modeling and my career has been growing ever since.”

What were the biggest challenges you’ve faced in the modeling industry and how did you overcome them?

“One of the biggest challenges I faced in the modeling industry was the knowledge barrier. Initially, I had a limited understanding of modeling and believed it was mainly about walking the runway or posing for billboards like Victoria’s Secret models. However, I soon realized that there are multiple ways to make money through modeling beyond these traditional avenues.

It was a significant learning curve to discover the different opportunities available and decide which ones would work best for me. For example, I initially aspired to pursue runway modeling, but at 5’7″ or 5’8″, I fell slightly shorter than the typical height requirement of 5’9″ or 5’10”. This led me to explore more commercial modeling opportunities, which proved to be a better fit for my height and opened up new possibilities.”
What do you think sets your personal brand apart from your competitors?

“I believe the diversity of my experience is what sets my personal brand apart from my competitors. Alongside my modeling pursuits, I hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting and have professional experience in that field. This background has provided me with a logical and analytical mind, allowing me to understand costs, finances, and the business side of the industry. I’ve also immersed myself in digital marketing, both behind and in front of the camera. This wide range of experiences provides me with a unique perspective. Regardless of the role I take on, I can consider and appreciate the various elements involved in the process.”

What strategies have you used to grow your social media following?

“The main strategy I’ve used to grow my social media following is consistency. I make it a point to show up every single day that I can and create genuine content. I don’t focus on the numbers or follower count, but rather on creating quality content and sharing it as frequently as possible.”
What has been the most successful platform for you in terms of gaining new followers?

“I’ve been on Instagram for the longest amount of time, and my audience has grown and evolved over the years. The platform has provided me with the opportunity to showcase my modeling work and connect with a diverse range of people. While I’ve also been building my presence on YouTube and TikTok, Instagram remains my primary platform with a deep-rooted following.”
What type of content generates the most engagement on social media for your brand?

“I’ve found that a diverse range of content generates the most engagement on social media for my brand. On Instagram, using various features such as Stories, polls, questions, links, highlights, and Reels has allowed me to reach different segments of my audience. By leveraging these tools effectively, I can engage with my followers in different ways.”

What advice would you give to other creators or models who are looking to use social media to grow their businesses?

  • “Don’t take yourself too seriously and focus on creating content that you genuinely enjoy and believe in.
  • Consistency is key, so show up regularly and engage with your audience.
  • Embrace the features and tools offered by each platform and explore different formats, such as videos and Reels, to keep your content fresh and appealing. Also, don’t be afraid to cross-promote your different social media accounts to redirect traffic and expand your audience across platforms.
  • Finally, always keep learning, stay open to new trends, and adapt your strategies accordingly.”

What do you think has been the most significant factor in your success as an influencer?

“I’d have to say it’s my genuine passion and enjoyment for every part of the creative process. From the tedious tasks like editing videos to the fun aspects of creating content, I find joy in every step.”

How do you stay creative and motivated when it comes to creating content for your social media accounts?

“When I feel creatively stuck or unmotivated, I take a step back and give myself a break. Sometimes it’s just a short break of a few minutes, and other times it might be a couple of days. During this time, I try to focus on self-care and recharge my energy. Doing activities like working out, eating a good meal, or having a fun experience helps me reset and reinvigorate my creativity.”

What trends do you keep an eye on to ensure your social media strategies stay up-to-date?

“I keep a close eye on trends through various sources. One of my main tactics is to explore TikTok and use the search bar to look for keywords related to my niche, such as fashion, modeling, and content creation. This allows me to discover the top posts and trending topics within the past week or month.

I also rely on Google Trends to research keywords and identify what has the most search volume and popularity. By combining these insights with my own observations, I find that I’m able to stay informed about the latest trends and adapt my content accordingly.”

Is there an experience with one brand that particularly stood out to you?

One of the most memorable experiences was collaborating with La’ Agra, a high-end fashion brand based in New York. The shoot took place in Florida, and it was a unique opportunity to explore Indian fashion-inspired clothing. The heavy and gorgeous makeup, along with the overall styling, allowed me to tap into a new character and showcase a different side of my modeling abilities. It was a truly fun project that stood out to me!”

Tell me a little bit about the offerings on your website, such as the 30-day mindset shift with affirmations and your community.

“My website is a space I’ve created to go beyond social media platforms. It’s a place where I can connect with people who want to be a part of a community. The 30-day mindset shift with affirmations is just a glimpse of what I have in store. I’m passionate about mental health and wellness, and I plan to further develop offerings in that area. I want to create groups that focus on mental health, as well as content creators and models.

These groups will provide a space for like-minded individuals to engage, share their content, and support each other.”

In the next year, what are the plans and steps you envision for your new venture? How do you see your community and offerings evolving?

“In the next year, my goal is to expand the groups on my website. I envision a vibrant space where content creators and models can connect, share their work, and discover opportunities. I’d love to organize more local events and create a strong network of like-minded individuals who uplift and empower each other.

I also want to expand my YouTube channel to essentially be a guide to creators and businesses trying to launch and grow an online brand.”

It’s refreshing to hear that you focus on fostering a community instead of competition among women. Can you tell me more about your approach to networking and collaboration within your community?

“Absolutely! I strongly believe in the power of community and collaboration over competition. In an industry that can sometimes be competitive, I want to create a network where we can uplift and support each other. Within my community, I encourage sharing opportunities, casting calls, and resources. If there’s a casting call that might not be suitable for me, I love being able to pass it on to someone in the group who may be a perfect fit.”

What new projects are you working on and what can we expect to see from you in the near future?

“I have some exciting new projects in the works. The biggest news is that I’ll be transitioning to working in this industry full-time starting in August. Until now, I’ve been balancing it as a side job, but I’m thrilled to be dedicating all my energy and time to this career.

As a result, you can expect to see a lot more from me on social media and specifically on my YouTube channel. I’ll be creating content related to digital marketing, modeling, and sharing behind-the-scenes insights and how-tos. I’m really looking forward to this new chapter and the opportunities it will bring.”

“Thank you! It feels incredibly exciting and fulfilling to be able to dedicate myself fully to my passion. It’s been a journey of hard work and perseverance, and now I get to see it pay off. Being able to put all my energy into this career means I can create even more content, collaborate with brands, and engage with my audience on a deeper level.”
