Country music singer Jimmie Allen made two major announcements on April 21: He and wife Alexis Gale have called it quits — and they’re expecting their third child together amid their split. The former couple, who married in 2020, are already parents to toddlers Naomi and Zara. “After much thought and reflection in recent months, Lex & I have made the decision to separate,” Jimmie wrote on Instagram. “As we navigate this life change, we can also share that we will be welcoming another child together later this year.”

On April 11, entertainment journalist Jason Kennedy announced that a year after welcoming son Ryver, he and author wife Lauren Scruggs are expecting another baby. “This was a major surprise and the sweetest plot twist — i cannot wait to watch little ryver be a big brother,” Jason captioned a video of Ryver hearing the news on Instagram.

On April 13, “Queer Eye” star Tan France announced that he and his husband, pediatric nurse and illustrator Rob France, were expecting their second child via surrogate. Son Ismail, who was born in 2021, is “going to be a big brother!” Tan wrote on Instagram, adding, “Becoming dads has been our greatest joy, and we are so excited to grow our family with the help of our wonderful surrogate.”

On March 29, People magazine, Page Six and more outlets reported that Jonah Hill is set to become a first-time father. Girlfriend Olivia Millar, who co-owns the online vintage shop Chasseresse, was photographed in March sporting both a growing baby bump (see the photos here) as well as a large diamond on her left-hand ring finger. Jonah and Olivia started dating in 2022. The actor’s rep has not commented on pregnancy or engagement reports.

On March 24, Daniel Radcliffe stepped out in New York City with his long-term girlfriend, actress Erin Darke — who appeared heavily pregnant. (See photos here.) It was the first indication that the couple of more than a decade are set to become first-time parents. A rep for the former “Harry Potter” child star later confirmed the happy news to multiple media outlets.

Country music star Luke Combs and wife Nicole Hocking Combs are having another baby! The singer took to Instagram to announce their happy news on March 20, captioning a family photo featuring 9-month-old son Tex Lawrence wearing a “big brother” shirt, “Joining the 2 under 2 club! Baby boy #2 coming this September!!”

“Succession” star Sarah Snook revealed she’s pregnant with her first child while walking the red carpet at the premiere of the HBO show’s fourth and final season on March 20. When “Extra” asked the two-time Emmy nominee what she’s learned about parenting from the dysfunctional Roy family, she fired back, “What not to do! … I don’t know if the Roy family are a paragon of family values… I don’t think we could be looking up to them for guidance.” The Australian actress quietly married comedian Dave Lawson in February 2021.

The Netflix star announced the news on Instagram on March 15. “@boss show with my forever new +1,” she captioned a photo of herself with an obvious baby bump. Brianne and her husband, Matt Ziering, tied the knot in 2021. This will be their first child.

Former child star Lindsay Lohan is pregnant with a child of her own! On March 14, the “Parent Trap,” “Freaky Friday” and “Mean Girls” actress took to Instagram to announce that she and Bader Shammas — the financier she married in 2022 — are expecting their first baby. “We are blessed and excited!” Lindsay captioned a photo of a white onesie stamped with the words “coming soon.”

On March 1, “Vanderpump Rules” alum Stassi Schroeder and husband Beau Clark announced that she’s pregnant with their second child. “Secrets stress me out. Baby #2, I love you so much already,” Stassi captioned a photo revealing her growing bump. The new baby will join daughter Hartford Charlie Rose, who was born in 2021. Speaking of secrets… Just a few days later, the news broke that several of Stassi’s former co-stars were involved in a cheating scandal.

Adam Driver and wife Joanne Tucker are preparing to welcome their second child, Page Six confirmed on Feb. 20. Page Six published photos of the “Star Wars” franchise and “House of Gucci” actor unloading groceries in New York City alongside his visibly pregnant wife of nearly a decade. The fiercely private couple are also parents to a son born in 2016 — though the world didn’t learn about his existence until 2018.

Former teen-movie star Anthony Michael Hall is going to be a first-time father. On Feb. 14, the “Breakfast Club,” “16 Candles,” “Weird Science” and “The Dead Zone” actor announced that his wife and “War Machine” co-star, Lucia Oskerova, is pregnant. “My wife Lucia and I are so blessed, happy and proud to announce on this Valentine’s Day, that we are expecting our first child this summer,” he wrote on Instagram. “Thank You Heavenly Father!” Anthony further told People magazine — which has exclusive pregnancy photos — that they’re having a boy and that Lucia was at the start of her third trimester when they announced the news. He also revealed that they’ll be naming their son Michael Anthony Hall II. (The actor was born Michael Anthony Hall but had to change his stage name, flipping his first and middle names, when he joined the Screen Actor’s Guild in 1976.)

Barely two weeks after singer Marc Anthony married much-younger bride Nadia Ferreira in Miami, the couple announced that the former Miss Universe Paraguay is pregnant. “Best Valentine’s Gift Ever!!!” they shared in a joint post on Feb. 14 revealing their happy news with a baby bump photo. Ten days later, Nadia’s growing bump made its red carpet debut (pictured). “Gracias Dios por esta bendición tan grande en nuestras vidas,” they also wrote in Spanish, which roughly translates to “thank you God for this great blessing in our lives.” This will be Nadia’s first child and Marc’s seventh: He shares twins Max and Emme, 14, with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez; Cristian, 22, and Ryan, 19, with ex-wife Dayanara Torres; and Ariana, 28, and Chase, 27, with ex Debbie Rosado.

Grammy-nominated rapper Da Brat (left) is pregnant at 48, she announced via People magazine on Feb. 21. “It’s been quite a journey,” she shared. Wife Jesseca “Judy” Harris-Dupart is already a mom of three, but this is Da Brat’s first child. “I never thought I was going to have kids. I just thought it wasn’t in the cards for me. I’ve had a great career, a full life. I felt like, because I didn’t get pregnant earlier on, then it just wasn’t going to happen for me,” she explained. But after falling for Judy, “I started looking at life so differently. I was like, ‘I want a little me with you.’ Something special from the both of us that we can share and raise and love unconditionally.”

Judy convinced Da Brat that she should be the one to carry their child. “We had a little tug-o-war in the beginning… but I felt like she should have the experience. She is so nurturing,” explained Judy, who suffered health complications following her egg retrieval procedure. Da Brat also faced medical issues: Before they could transfer the embryo they created with the help of an anonymous sperm donor, Da Brat had to undergo surgery to remove fibroids and polyps — then she miscarried. “I had never been so excited about something that I didn’t even know I wanted. I fell in love with the idea and then it was all snatched away from me,” she shared. But the couple was lucky enough to have more eggs, and when they announced their happy news, Da Brat was well into her second trimester.

“Crazy Rich Asians” and “Fresh Off the Boat” star Constance Wu is expecting her second child, outlets including Page Six confirmed after the actress was photographed out and about in Los Angeles sporting a large baby bump on Feb. 14. A few days later on Feb. 21, Constance confirmed the news on her Instagram Story, posting a bare-belly pic captioned, “Bun in the oven. Filipinese baby #2 coming soon,” referencing her Taiwanese heritage and musician boyfriend Ryan Kattner’s Filipino heritage. The couple welcomed their first child, a girl, in 2020.

Drew Barrymore’s ex-husband Will Kopelman, an art consultant with whom the actress and talk show host shares daughters Olive, 10, and Frankie, 8, is going to be a dad again. He and second wife Alexandra Michler, Vogue’s director of fashion development, are expecting a boy, Alexandra announced on Instagram on Feb. 11, captioning a bump reveal photo, “The year of boys!!”

“The Hunger Games” and “Vikings” star Alexander Ludwig and wife Lauren, a jewelry company founder, are expecting a baby due in May following multiple heartbreaking miscarriages, they announced on Instagram on Feb. 10. “It’s been a long road, and we wanted to wait until things were looking promising this time around. Thank you guys for all of the support. We couldn’t be more grateful. … Baby Ludwig coming May 2023,” the actor captioned a photo revealing his wife’s growing bump. “As a lot of you know it’s been a long road for @alexanderludwig and myself,” Lauren added. “We suffered 3 losses before this one but each one of those losses taught us about ourselves and each other. To everyone out there who has suffered miscarriages before, there is light on the other side of your journey. You are not alone.”

An hour after music star Rihanna headlined the Super Bowl LVII halftime show in Glendale, Arizona, on Feb. 12 — causing social media to blow up with speculation that she might be expecting again nine months after welcoming her first child, a son, with rapper A$AP Rocky — her rep confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter and Rolling Stone that the singer is indeed pregnant. Both her name and the word “pregnant” trended on Twitter in the wake of her performance, during which she rubbed her belly.

After years of attempts to start a family, TV host Maria Menounos and husband Keven Undergaro are having a baby, they announced on Feb. 7. “Just after a decade of trying everything, we are so grateful to the beautiful family helping us conceive our baby,” Maria told People magazine. “Keven, my dad and I are all beyond excited for this soul to come into our lives. What a blessing.” The couple, who first began IVF treatments in 2012 and later turned to surrogacy, experienced other setbacks including Maria’s brain tumor diagnosis in 2017; she lost her mom to brain cancer in 2021.

On the Feb. 3 episode of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Kit Harington revealed that he and wife Rose Leslie are expecting their second child together. While discussing their 2-year-old son — whose name they’ve managed to keep under wraps — the two-time Emmy nominee joked that his little boy is “about to get the shock of his life” because “he’s about to get a brother or sister.” Said Kit of becoming a father of two, “I’m terrified. With the first baby, you’re like walking on clouds and dancing through fields of daisies for nine months — well, the man is anyway. But this time, the reality check comes much shorter. You get practical real quick.”

He went on to say that his son hasn’t “quite conceptually understood [the pregnancy] just yet.” Said Kit, “We’re trying to get him ready for it. We point at Rose’s tummy and we say, ‘Mummy’s baby, mummy’s baby.’ And he points to his tummy and goes, ‘My baby.'”

Kit and Rose fell in love on the set of “Game of Thrones” and tied the knot in Scotland in 2018.

On Dec. 31, model Ireland Baldwin — the daughter of Oscar winner Kim Basinger and Emmy winner Alec Baldwin — announced that she and her boyfriend, Grammy-winning recording artist RAC (real name: André Allen Anjos) — are expecting their first child together. The next day, Ireland posted photos of her pregnancy cravings on her Instagram Story: Nando’s hot sauce, Annie’s pizza mini bagels, Just Ice Tea’s half-tea half lemonade and strawberry mochi ice cream.

She later revealed what she and her partner plan to name their daughter. “We’re naming her Holland. I’m Ireland, so another country name because we wanted to keep that consistent,” the model said on the Jan. 31 episode of the “Girlboss Radio” podcast, adding that she also drew inspiration from actress Holland Taylor’s moniker. “I’ve always loved that name since I was young, I just thought that was such a classy, beautiful name, so we’re going with Holland,” she explained.

On Jan. 14, a rep for “She Said” and “An Education” actress Carey Mulligan confirmed to People magazine that the two-time Oscar nominee is pregnant with her third child. Carey and husband Marcus Mumford, the frontman for Grammy-winning band Mumford & Sons, are already parents to daughter Evelyn, 7, and son Wilfred, 5.
