Kelsea Ballerini was struck in the face by a random object in the latest disturbing incident where a musician was pelted onstage.

As Ballerini performed her hit song “If You Go Down” at Outlaw Field at the Idaho Botanical Garden in Boise, Idaho on Wednesday, she was suddenly hit in the face and was forced to temporarily stop her gig.

The shocking moment surfaced on social media as Ballerini seemingly tended to her eye and walked backstage following a brief exchange with her violinist.

While it’s unknown what exactly hit the singer in the face, several fans in attendance suggest it was a bracelet.

“Can we just talk about what happened,” Ballerini asked the crowd when she returned to the stage. “All I care about is keeping everyone safe. If you ever don’t feel safe, please let someone around you know.”

“If anyone’s pushing too much or you just have that gut feeling, just always flag it. Don’t throw things. You know?

The ordeal prompted Ballerini’s official fan account to issue a statement on social media, pleading with fans to stop throwing items on stage.

Guys. I know we all mean well. We all want to show Kelsea love the best way we know how, and shower her with all the gifts. But throwing things on stage where artists are already so vulnerable is NOT the move. If you can’t hand it to her, there are so many other options. Lord,… pic.twitter.com/oIgy2JDn3V

“Guys. I know we all mean well. We all want to show Kelsea love the best way we know how, and shower her with all the gifts,” the fan account tweeted Wednesday. “But throwing things on stage where artists are already so vulnerable is NOT the move.”

“If you can’t hand it to her, there are so many other options. Lord, give it to us! We will make sure it gets to her,” the statement continued.

“But PLEASE don’t put her in danger like this. Again, I know you all mean well, but this is becoming a safety issue. We love you guys. We do. But please make it stop.”

It’s unclear if the fan who threw the item was kicked out of the venue.

The ordeal follows hot on the heels of similar fan interactions in recent days.

Singer Bebe Rexha was left with a black eye and needing stitches after a careless concertgoer hurled a cellphone at her face in New York City earlier this month.

Rexha, 33, was forced to end her concert at The Rooftop at Pier 17 early after being struck in the eye.

The fan has since been arrested.

Just days later, singer Ava Max was slapped on stage by a concertgoer during her Los Angeles performance.

The unruly fan, who has not been identified, allegedly jumped onstage and physically assaulted Max, 29, while she was performing.

Later that night, she revealed on Twitter that she sustained an eye injury.

Singer Pink was faced with some surprises during her own gig in London in recent days.

While the “Trustfall” hitmaker wasn’t hurt, she was left gobsmacked after a concertgoer tossed a bag of their mother’s ashes on stage during her headlining set at the British Summer Time festival in London over the weekend.

The following day, she received a large wheel of brie cheese mid-song.
