This video is cooking up a storm.
Photographer-turned-wannabe chef Brooklyn Beckham is being trolled online for frying chicken in an excessive amount of avocado oil.
The 24-year-old posted the clip on Instagram Tuesday in partnership with Chosen Foods, telling his 15.4 million followers in the caption that he loves using the brandâs oil âfor frying because of its high smoke point and neutral flavor.â
In the video, Beckham is seen coating chicken breasts in a milk mixture before rolling them in a blend of spices and flour and then frying them in a hot pan.

After the eldest son of Spice Girl Victoria Beckham and soccer star David Beckham poured an entire bottle of avocado oil â which retails for $24.99 â into his pan, fans flooded his comments section.
âThats a LOT of oil,â wrote one follower.
âThere are people dying in the world from starvation â you used enough oil and milk for about 20 people. But you wouldnât understand that,â commented another.
âThatâs at least $25 worth of avocado oil đŽ,â added a third critic.

âWow all those ingredients for two pieces of chicken!!!â wrote another social media user.
âHi Brooklyn, looks great, is it ok for my grandfather with clogged arteries? Thanks,â joked one more troll.

Brooklyn launched his social media series, âCookinâ With Brooklyn,â on Facebook Watch and Instagram in 2021.
Insiders familiar with the digital show told The Post last year that it took a team of 62 professionals to help Brooklyn demonstrate how to make a sandwich â including a âculinary producerâ who approved the recipes, nine producers and five camera operators.

âItâs unheard of,â a senior TV executive said. âItâs the sort of crewing you would expect on a big TV show.â
Brooklyn, who has no professional culinary training, was subsequently slammed for claiming his new career as a âchefâ paid for his $1.2 million luxury sports car.
âHey, man! What do you do for a living? Your carâs awesome!â asked Daniel Mac in a TikTok video at the time.

âUm, Iâm a chef,â Brooklyn replied after realizing he recognized the influencer.
âYouâre a chef? Really? Are you, like, the best chef in the world?â Mac asked, to which the London native responded, âTryna be!â
Becoming a âchefâ is Brooklynâs third attempt at a career.

As a teenager, he wanted to become a professional footballer like his famous father but was dropped by London club Arsenal at 15.
Brooklyn then took photography and media studies at a private London college and was accepted to study photography at the Parsons School in New York; however, he dropped out after less than a year after feeling homesick.
Then, in 2017, he released âWhat I See,â a book of 300 âpersonalâ photographs, including one of his mom petting an elephant.
