Firefly Farms – You absolutely cannot visit Deep Creek Lake without stopping by Firefly Farms at least once. They have most of the groceries we’ll use throughout the trip including everything we need for a charcuterie board that’s out of this world.
Cabin Fever Purveyors – If you’re headed to Englanders or the B&O Museum, be sure to stop by this gem of a thrift shop while you’re in the Oakland area!
Redbud Bulk Foods and Deli – This shop is admittedly up the road a bit, but we always make the stop to get some groceries on the way. Don’t be afraid to buy perishables if you know when your rental will be ready—we’ve bought their frozen sausage before and it was still plenty cold when we started putting groceries away.
Schoolhouse Earth
Englanders Antiques – This is a must-stop shop for anyone who loves a good thrift with good prices. Their team of vendors presents a good mix of merchandise and you’ll be hungry by the time you leave, so grab some grub from the kitchen in the back!
