In case you missed it, HBO has made the decision to rebrand HBO Max to MAX. So far, HBO has gone from HBO to HBO GO, to HBO Max, and now just MAX. Before we know it, it’ll be called just X.
While I don’t know the first thing about marketing, it does seem like a silly decision. Not only because I don’t want to download a new app, but also because of the number of funny tweets and memes roasting the new HBO Max rebrand.
My personal least favorite part is the transition from purple to blue, but people on Twitter have made plenty of other hilarious jokes with their HBO Max memes.
