Established in 1965, Orange River Cellars is one of the world’s largest wine cellars. It includes four wineries that span a 300km stretch along the Orange River.

You can visit its production cellars and spend time in the intimate tasting rooms. Moreover, you can access the most comprehensive collection of wines and taste between five to seven of them.

Their pairing menu is simply delicious, and there is also the choice to create your own platter of wines and snacks to suit your taste.

Bezalel Wine and Brandy Estate 

Bezalel Wine and Brandy Estate is located on the outskirts of Upington and is easily recognisable by its huge solar plant and tower mirror. Established in the 1990s, it was the first private cellar in the region.

The estate strives to produce wonderful products that reflect a pride in heritage. They are also committed to making visitors feel welcome, enabling everyone to enjoy a wholesome experience.

It was established in 1968 and produces a variety of both desert and table wine. Douglas is a very green area and lies on the banks of the Vaal River. Apart from great wine, you can also expect an experience in nature that is refreshing for the soul.
